50 pairs?! I'm tres envious. This is really sad but I only have 1 pair. Kiddies have me in sweats all the time.
I LURVE skirts and wear them all the time. BUT, when I'm going out I wanna rock the f-me shoes and with a skirt, they can really make ya look like a hooker.
Kidcrazy2, how do you live with only 1 pair of jeans, are you not American? I have a whole half of closet designated to jeans. At last count I have 76 pairs and just bought 2 more pairs today. I have every color and style. My favorite are sevens because they are not made in sweatshops and are instead made by a worker cooperative. I also like the mainstream jeans like Levis and Mudd. Always go with jeans on a Friday night with a sexy top. A skirt can cause problems later in the night or if it gets windy, but with your jeans and top you can be casual or posh if needed.
caligirl201...I'm Canadian so no, I'm not technically American lol! I'm North American, how's that? I know, it's really pathetic that I only have 1 pair. I'm going shopping this weekend for sure.
I have only 1 pair of jeans too - all my others died and i have no money to replace them!
i definately rock the skirt going out - and the poll says why - because i need to stand out and most people wear jeans. and i like looking like a hooker. or just a plain tart. you get loads of attention AND you get to cue-jump!
Yeah I just weeded out my jeans got rid of a bunch, but then I have been buying them for almost 30 years. I like my seven for mankind and my citizens, they really do flatter the butt, true religion are ok, I have a 37 inch inseam so its hard to find fashion jeans to come in that length, I can buy from tall shops but they arent very good.

I love skirts but jeans are ultimate for comfort and so versatile. And skirts I more than likely will just wear during daytime

HOLD ON...1 pair of jeans.....maybe I am bored of my because I have like....1...2...3......about 10 pairs mostly 7's, Citizen of Humanity and a few James thrown in. And it is summer who wants to wear jeans in the summer....let you legs be free.
JK Boogie, I have 78 pairs of jeans as I posted above, but Pixie and Kidcrazy2 said they only have one pair. Obviously alot of people wear jeans in the summer. I'm in Starbucks right now and everyone in here has on jeans, it's the tops that change, but jeans are a constant.

Caligirl...If you wore 1 pair a week for a year you would still have 26 pairs you would not have worn....You must have a large wardrobe...I believe you call it closet. It must be a walk-in-closet. My dream home - in my head - has a walk-in closet.
Phoenix...work what you have...I have a horrible scar on my back and I just learn to live with it...I can tell if I am wearing a strapless top people are shocked that I am showing my scar but it is part of me and I refused to be ashamed of it.

Kudos to Jennifer76 and JK Boogie. We all have imperfections, but they just make us different and unique and it's great that you girls embrace them. All of us have things we love and things we hate about ourselves, but I like your F**k it attitudes. Also I never thought 78 pairs of jeans was too much, my roommate has 110 hoodies and 56 pairs of jeans. I only have 62 hoodies by contrast.
Yes, JK Boogie we say walk in closet and yes I have one with shelving and some are in those plastic bins you get at Crate and Barrel. Some of my jeans have never been worn though, so maybe I'm more of a collector.
Caligirl...I have shoes like that so I understand your situation. I buy shoes that are so pretty but hurt to actually walk in because they are too pointy or too pretty and I am scared of ruining or shoes that are too high to walk in. I am like Carrie Bradshaw. One of my favourite episodes is there Pete the dog chews one of Carries Manolo's and she has a go at Aidan....and he says.."I'll buy you a new pair"...Carrie says "you can't buy it, its circa 1986"...I love my shoes.
